Dr Rao Dukkipati BVSc, MVSc, PhD

Rao was born and brought up in an agricultural family in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. After obtaining BVSc and MVSc (Genetics and Animal Breeding) degrees from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, he worked for over three years in the same university as Lecturer in Genetics and Animal Breeding. Rao came to New Zealand in 2002 to do PhD in Animal Science (Molecular Genetics) in IVABS, 麻豆视频. After completion of PhD in early 2007, he worked as Research Officer in Johne's sub-unit vaccine project in IVABS until appointed to the current position at the beginning of 2011.
